ASDA Supermarket, Swinton

Swinton shopping centre has undergone a £30 million redevelopment. Part of this redevelopment was a new Asda superstore. David White Construction was employed by Bowmer and Kirkland to carry out the masonry works on a full labour, plant and materials Sub contract package. Contract value was approx £250,000.00.

The project

We supported the scheme under a brickwork package consisting of full labour, plant, and materials at a cost of around £250,000.

The duration of the project was approximately 12 months. Swinton Shopping Centre was run down and really needed an injection of improvement to rejuvenate the area and freshen it up to improve the overall shopping experience.

The hard work paid off - not only does the store look fantastic at the heart of the regenerated shopping centre, but this has created a number of new jobs for the local community.
